Description:
5'-O-DMT-2'-O-methylinosine 3'-CE phosphoramidite is a novel modified nucleoside analog. It is synthesized from the corresponding ribonucleoside and deoxyribonucleoside by means of a high-yield, convergent method. This compound has antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and cytomegalovirus (CMV) in vitro. 5'-O-DMT-2'-O-methylinosine 3'-CE phosphoramidite also exhibits anticancer activities in cell culture.
