Product Information
Dabsyl-L-alanine is a synthetic drug that is used as a diagnostic probe for the detection of hydrogen bonds. It has been shown to be cell specific and can be used to detect the presence of homologues in cells. Dabsyl-L-alanine has been found to bind to the hydroxyl group of proteins, which leads to an increase in lp-pla2 activity. Dabsyl-L-alanine can also form hydrogen bonds with fluorine, which is commonly found in diagnostic probes.
