The solvent is evaporated and the analytes are transferred onto an electrochemical detector. 3,4,5-Trichloropyridin-2-ol has been shown to be stable in human serum and can be used as a model system for the study of chlorpyrifos degradation in water vapor. 3,4,5-Trichloropyridin-2-ol also inhibits acetylcholinesterase activity in vitro.
