Description:
1-Bromobuta-1,3-diene is a synthetic compound that yields high yields in the production of potassium hydroxide. It can be produced in two ways: by reacting vinylacetylene with potassium hydroxide or by reacting 1,2-dibromoethane with potassium hydroxide. The isomerization of 1-bromobuta-1,3-diene is a relatively efficient process and does not require high temperatures.
