H2L5186303 also inhibits the activity of growth factor receptors, which are involved in cell proliferation and differentiation. Research has shown that H2L5186303 can inhibit apoptosis, or programmed cell death, by binding to the cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2). This compound has been shown to have anticancer effects on mouse hippocampal cells and fibrosarcoma cells.
