Description:
Vu0364770 hydrochloride is an inhibitor of the α-1A adrenergic receptor. It is a peptide that is used as a research tool and in the study of protein interactions and activation, ligand binding, receptors, ion channels and antibodies. Vu0364770 hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit the binding of the agonist [3H]dihydroalprenolol to rat brain membranes with an IC50 value of 0.5 μM. The IC50 values for [3H]dihydroalprenolol binding were 4.2 μM for rat brain homogenates and 2.6 μM for rat cerebral cortex homogenates. Vu0364770 hydrochloride also binds to mouse erythrocytes with an IC50 value of 1 μM, but does not bind to human erythrocytes at concentrations up to 10 μM.br>br>
