Product Information
2-Amino-4-(4-amino-2-fluorophenoxy)pyridine is a small molecule that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro. It inhibits the c-met receptor and blocks its binding to hepatocyte growth factor (HGF). This action prevents HGF from activating downstream signaling pathways, including those involved in cell proliferation and motility. The drug has also been shown to reduce the expression of VEGF, which may contribute to its antiangiogenic activity. 2-Amino-4-(4-amino-2-fluorophenoxy)pyridine was evaluated in an animal model for antitumor activity and showed significant antitumor effects. The drug is currently being evaluated for clinical efficacy in patients with cancer.
