Description:
(S)-3-Phenylmorpholine is a potential lead compound for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. It has been identified as an analog of the anti-inflammatory drug indomethacin that is more potent and selective. (S)-3-Phenylmorpholine has shown anti-inflammatory properties in vitro and in vivo. This compound inhibits the production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, which are pro-inflammatory mediators. (S)-3-Phenylmorpholine also inhibits tumor growth by inhibiting angiogenesis and cell proliferation in xenograft mice.
