Description:
N-(3-Aminomethyl)pyridin-2-yl)-N-methylmethanesulfonamide is a ligand that inhibits the tyrosine kinase activity of the receptor protein. This inhibitor binds to the ATP binding site of the enzyme, blocking access of ATP and preventing ATP from binding to the active site. Inhibition of tyrosine kinase activity prevents cell proliferation and has been shown to be an effective treatment for leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancers.
