Ac-Nle-Cyclo[Asp-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys]-NH2, also known as cycloastragenol, is a synthetic cyclic peptide that inhibits the activity of adipose β3 adrenergic receptors, leading to reduced fat accumulation. Cycloastragenol has been shown to inhibit the formation of atherosclerotic lesions in mice and may have antiatherogenic effects. It also has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in some skin cancer models and has immunosuppressive effects.
