Description:

7-Bromo-1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole is an organic solvent with a molecular weight of 126.12 g/mol and a boiling point of 266 °C. It has a basic group and a hydroxyl group. The nitrogen atoms are present in the molecule as well as two silver ions that have been shown to be important for viral life and cancer treatment. 7-Bromo-1H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole also has two monocarboxylic acid groups and one polycarboxylic acid group. It is used as corrosion inhibitor, which may be due to its ability to inhibit glutamate activity and metal ion complexation. This compound also contains a residue that can be hydrolyzed by enzymes found in human proteins.
