Diosmetin-d3 is a flavone found in plants that has oestrogenic, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. Diosmetin-d3 is the aglycone of diosmetin, an antineoplastic agent. It binds to oestrogen receptors and can be used as an antineoplastic agent. Diosmetin-d3 has also been shown to have antimicrobial activity against bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. The compound is also an antioxidant and may inhibit the glycation process in cells by reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS).
