WZ3146 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It has been shown to inhibit tumor cell growth in vitro and in vivo, and is currently being investigated as a potential therapeutic for patients with cancer. WZ3146 has also been shown to inhibit the production of proteins involved in the repair mechanism of DNA damage, leading to increased sensitivity to anticancer drugs. The binding of WZ3146 increases the sensitivity of cells to the cytotoxic effects of triazine herbicides such as atrazine. This protein may be used as a biomarker for leukemia, with its expression correlating with that of other markers such as basophilic leukemia and recombinant proteins.
