Description:
Butyl 2-methylbutyrate is a hydroalcoholic solvent that is used as an organic solvent. It has been shown to have synergistic effects with other solvents, such as isovaleric acid, butyric acid, methyl cinnamate, and diptera. Butyl 2-methylbutyrate has also been shown to inhibit the growth of lipase and tiglic acid, which are enzymes in the milk fat digestion process. Butyl 2-methylbutyrate can be found in host plants such as Caproicum album and Rubus idaeus.
