Ammonium hexachloroiridate(III) is a ligand that has been shown to form covalent bonds with oxygen atoms. It is also a low-frequency ligand that can be used in organometallic compounds. Ammonium hexachloroiridate(III) is stable in solutions of halogeno and transition metal ions, which makes it useful for electrothermal applications. This ligand has been shown to have a strong effect on the diffraction parameters and anions, as well as being functional with respect to the stabilization of transition metal ions. Ammonium hexachloroiridate(III) was found to form crystals by x-ray diffraction, which were analyzed using transfer parameters. The atomic coordinates are given in parentheses, followed by their unit cell dimensions.
