Description:

Hafnium sulfate is an inorganic chemical compound with the formula HfSO4. It is a water-soluble white solid with low solubility in organic solvents. Hafnium sulfate is used as an extractant for hafnium and zirconium, and as a catalyst for the production of polyethylene. It has been shown to be an effective extractant for hafnium and zirconium, as well as a good catalyst for the production of polyethylene. Hafnium sulfate has also been shown to have functional groups that can be used to grow nanostructures on metal surfaces, such as zirconia. Hafnium sulfate has been shown to have strong adsorption abilities on chromatographic columns, which are used in metal surface analysis.
