Taxiresinol is a trifluoroacetic acid derivative of the secoisolariciresinol which is found in many plants. It has been shown to have cytotoxic properties and to be an effective immunosuppressive agent. Taxiresinol has also been used as an experimental model for studying body formation. The mechanism of action of taxiresinol is not fully understood, but it may inhibit protein synthesis and induce apoptosis in cancer cells.

Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. It is used in veterinary medicine to treat respiratory infections caused by Clostridium perfringens and other bacteria. Tilmicosin has been shown to inhibit the production of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and serum enzymes, such as dismutase activity, in mice with lung cancer. This drug also has a toxic effect on
