Product Information
Nanchangmycin is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of polyethers. It has been shown to inhibit skin cancer cells in vitro, which may be due to its ability to interfere with the synthesis of DNA and RNA. Nanchangmycin also inhibits the growth of bacterial strains in vitro. The primary antitumor activity of nanchangmycin is thought to be due to its ability to inhibit bacterial synthase and polyketide synthase, which are enzymes involved in the synthesis of natural compounds such as antibiotics and anti-cancer drugs.
