Glass wool is a non-combustible material that is made from molten glass. The molten glass is spun into a long, fine strand and then stretched to form very thin fibers. It has excellent thermal insulation properties and can be used in the production of fireproof clothing. Glass wool has a low phase transition temperature and its biological properties are similar to those of cotton. Processing it requires sodium carbonate as a catalyst, which reacts with calcium and phosphorus pentoxide to produce heat. This reaction mechanism is also responsible for bone cancer and wastewater treatment. The process optimization of glass wool involves structural analysis and zirconium oxide particles, which are added during the production process.
