3-(6,7-Dimethoxyquinazolin-4-yloxy)-N-(4-((4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-4-methylbenzamide is a potent inhibitor of the human TRPV2 ion channel. It has been shown to inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines, such as IL-6 and CXCL8, in THP1 human monocytic cells. 3-(6,7-Dimethoxyquinazolin-4-yloxy)-N-(4-((4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-4-methylbenzamide has also been shown to be a potential cancer therapeutic agent.
