Product Information
- Neopentyl glycol bis(4-aminophenyl) ether
- 4,4'-[(2,2-Dimethylpropane-1,3-Diyl)Bis(Oxy)]Dianiline
Neopentyl Glycol Bis(4-aminophenyl) Ether is a reactive dianhydride. It undergoes a reaction with an amine, such as 4-amino phenol, to form a polyimide polymer. The physical properties of the polyimide are dependent on the type of amine used in the reaction. Neopentyl Glycol Bis(4-aminophenyl) Ether is soluble in organic solvents and can be used to prepare semicrystalline and polymeric materials. This chemical has been used to produce semi-conducting films that have a high transition temperature.
