Product Information
Deltarasin is a protein inhibitor that binds to and inhibits the function of proteins. Deltarasin has been shown to bind to and inhibit growth factors, such as human transforming growth factor-β, which is involved in cancer cell proliferation. It also has anti-tumor effects on human pancreatic and prostate cancer cells. Deltarasin has been shown to be successful in detecting the localization of fluorescently labeled proteins using a polymer film. The polymer film is a thin layer of polyacrylamide or agarose that is immobilized onto a microscope slide or coverslip with a protein solution. This process can be used for the identification of tumor cells by binding fluorescently labeled antibodies onto the tumor cells.
