Product Information

Name:
ERK Inhibitor II, FR180204
Description:

ERK inhibitor II (FR180204) is a type of protein kinase inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit the activity of ERK1/2, which are mitogen-activated protein kinases. The biological properties of this compound have been studied in vitro and in a model system using hl-60 cells. The compound has been shown to inhibit angiogenic processes, such as epithelial mesenchymal transition and the cytosolic calcium ion levels. It also inhibits brain functions and growth factor-β1 synthesis, leading to apoptosis in pluripotent cells. This drug is being developed for the treatment of cancer, among other diseases.
ERK inhibitor II also inhibits pro-apoptotic proteins and signal pathways such as NFκB, PI3K/Akt, p38 MAPKs, JNKs, ERKs, and p53 activation.
