Product Information
I-CBP 112 is a molecule that inhibits the function of hiv transcriptional regulatory proteins, which are necessary for viral replication. The mechanism of I-CBP 112 is thought to be due to its binding to the myeloid-derived suppressor factor (MDSF) and preventing it from binding to the transcription factor activator protein 1 (AP-1). I-CBP 112 has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity in prostate cancer cells, leukemic stem cells, and hematopoietic cells. This drug also binds fatty acids and lysine residues on the mitochondrial membrane potential.
