Product Information
Ethyl 2-(4-bromo-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-2-methylpropanoate (EBPMP) is a synthetic compound that has been shown to inhibit the activity of 3 kinases, including phosphoinositide 3 kinase (PI3K), protein kinase B (PKB/Akt), and mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK). EBPMP has also been shown to have an effect on the synthesis of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. This compound is soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform, dichloromethane, and benzene. The polymorphic form of EBPMP crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with two molecules per unit cell. This research is ongoing.
