Nor NOHA Monoacetate is a flavonoid-rich extract obtained from the leaves of the plant Caesalpinia pulcherrima. This extract has been shown to inhibit angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) activity, which aids in lowering blood pressure. Nor NOHA Monoacetate also shows antihypertensive effects and has been shown to lower high blood pressure and increase heart rate. The extract has also been shown to have an effect on cardiovascular diseases, such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Nor NOHA Monoacetate has been found to be effective against hypertension in rats as well as humans.
