Product Information
TP-238 hydrochloride is a peptide that binds to and inhibits the activity of phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase (PI3K) and phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1 (PDPK1). TP-238 hydrochloride is a research tool used to study the role of PI3K in cellular signaling. It has been shown to activate some GPCRs, such as the dopamine receptor, and inhibit ion channels. This peptide has also been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the growth of human breast cancer cells in culture.
