Description:
1-(3,5-Dichloro-4-fluorophenyl)-2,2,2-trifluoroethanone is a reagent that can be used as a hydroxylation or transfer reagent. It has been shown to catalyze the hydroxylation of phenols and other electron-deficient olefins. This compound is also a phase transfer catalyst and an organometallic reagent. 1-(3,5-Dichloro-4-fluorophenyl)-2,2,2-trifluoroethanone can be used in the synthesis of organic compounds by reacting with metal alkali or alkali metals such as potassium or magnesium.
