Product Information
3-Amino-1H-indazole-4-carbonitrile is an inhibitor of serine protease and HDACs. It has been shown to inhibit the rate of light emission from fatty acids in human serum, which may be due to its ability to bind with the fatty acid's amine group. 3-Amino-1H-indazole-4-carbonitrile is also able to inhibit the formation of a fluorescence probe in a reaction mixture containing a serine protease and a fluorescence probe substrate. This compound is used as a reagent in analytical chemistry for determining the concentration of compounds in human blood. 3-Amino-1H-indazole-4-carbonitrile binds with the quenching agent during an experiment, resulting in decreased light emission.
