Adamantane-1,3,5,7-tetraamine is a chemical compound that is synthesized by reacting sodium hydroxide with acetonitrile in the presence of hydrochloric acid and then heating the solution. Adamantane-1,3,5,7-tetraamine is highly stable to heat and radiation. It is soluble in water and has an alkaline pH value. This compound can be prepared by hydrolyzing adamantane-1,3,5,7-tetraamine tetrahydrochloride with hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide.
