Description

2-(4-Benzoyl-3-hydroxyphenoxy)ethyl acrylate (BHA) is a trifunctional reactive surfactant that is used as a sealant and coating. BHA has been shown to have a birefringence of 0.2, which makes it suitable for use in polymer films and other applications where birefringence is desired. It has been found to be effective as a binder in pesticide formulations, organic solvents, and polarizers. BHA has also been shown to be resistant to radiation, water vapor, and plates. BHA can be used in the production of polymers with high optical clarity due to its excellent adhesion properties. This product is soluble in both water and organic solvents.
