This product can be used as a stabilizer or humectant in pharmaceutical preparations and as an additive to oils such as myristate, isopropyl myristate, or propylene glycol. It can also be used to produce glycerol by dehydrogenation of glycols such as ethylene glycol or propylene glycol.
