Product Information
Hirsutanonol is a natural compound that belongs to the class of phenylpropanoids. Hirsutanonol has been shown to inhibit tyrosinase activity and melanogenesis in vitro. It also has hepatoprotective and physiological activities, such as the inhibition of prostate cancer cells. Hirsutanonol inhibits several stages of the melanin production cycle, including tyrosinase activity, melanogenesis, and melanosome transfer from keratinocytes to surrounding fibroblasts. In addition, it has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on prostate cancer cells. Hirsutanonol is found in plants such as glutinosa (a type of lichen) and b16 mouse melanoma.
