Product Information
Tris(1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propyl) Phosphate is a phosphorus oxychloride (POCl) derivative that is used as an additive in the synthesis of phosphite. It can be used to provide oxidation resistance and crystallising properties to the product. It is also used as a solvent for organic compounds. Tris(1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propyl) Phosphate is synthesised by refluxing POCl with hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) and chloride in an organic solvent. The reaction solution will be exothermic and produce a filtrate of POCl.
