Description:
3,4-Bis(cyclopropylmethoxy)-N-(3,5-dichloropyridin-4-yl)benzamide (3,4-BCMB) is a benzamide with anti-HIV activity. It inhibits the HIV protease and blocks the production of new virus particles by blocking protein synthesis in the host cell. 3,4-BCMB has been shown to be effective against cancer cells and can inhibit cellular growth.
