N2-(7-Chloro-4-quinolinyl)-N1-[2-[(7-chloro-4-quinolinyl)amino]ethyl]-N1-methyl-1,2-ethanediamine (NQEA) is a molecule that has been shown to have potent anti-cancer activity. NQEA interacts with the autophagy pathway by binding to the lysosome and inhibiting the formation of fatty acid. This inhibits the synthesis of lipids in cancer cells and leads to cell death. It also has an antitumor effect on leukemic mice and leukemic stem cells by inhibiting jak2 v617f. NQEA is stable in complex with cisplatin and can be synthesized from commercially available starting materials.
