Product Information
K-7174 is an inhibitor of hepcidin, a protein that regulates iron absorption in the intestines. K-7174 has been shown to upregulate genes involved in lipid metabolism and chemoattractant protein production, which may be related to its role in cervical cancer. K-7174 is currently being investigated as a potential treatment for the lacrimal gland, where it may inhibit the growth of hematopoietic cells and regulate inflammatory responses. This drug has also been shown to have antimicrobial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis in cell culture.
