Product Information
INF 39 is a neutralizing antibody that binds to the Nlrp3 protein, preventing it from activating pro-inflammatory genes. INF 39 has been shown to be effective in vitro by blocking the mitochondrial membrane potential and preventing cytokines release. It also prevents inflammatory bowel disease in mice. The antibody was developed as a diagnostic tool for bowel disease, but has also shown efficacy in treating testicular cancer and prostate cancer in mice. These effects may be due to INF 39's ability to target macrophages, which are cells found at sites of inflammation.
