Cyclopropyl-N-[[1-[(5-aminosulfonyl)naphthalen-2-yl]ethyl]amino]-α-(1,1-dimethylethyl)benzenepropanamide is a peptide that has been shown to activate the receptor for Substance P, a neuropeptide involved in pain transmission. Cyclopropyl-N-[[1-[(5-aminosulfonyl)naphthalen-2-yl]ethyl]amino]-α-(1,1-dimethylethyl)benzenepropanamide has also been shown to inhibit ligand binding to Substance P receptors with high affinity.
