Product Information
DHFBI is a hydroxyl-containing molecule that can be used as an optical sensor for the detection of DNA and RNA. DHFBI binds to the template strand of DNA and prevents the formation of a double helix. The binding site on DNA can be detected by monitoring changes in fluorescence emission, which is proportional to the amount of bound DHFBI. This compound has been shown to be stable in cell culture, vitro test, and biological sample conditions. It also does not show any significant cytotoxicity or radiation sensitivity.
