Description

Scabioside C is a natural compound that belongs to the class of sesquiterpene lactones. It is found in the roots of Pueraria lobata, a plant native to Japan. Scabioside C has been shown to inhibit the growth of HL-60 cells and induce apoptosis in MCF-7 cells. This compound also inhibits inflammation caused by bowel disease, which may be due to its ability to activate the MAPK pathway and upregulate the expression of COX2 and iNOS. The extractant used for this compound is fatty acid.
