Product Information
- 1,3-Isobenzofurandione, 4-Amino-
- 4-Amino-2-Benzofuran-1,3-Dione
4-Aminoisobenzofuran-1,3-dione is a dehydrating agent that is used to produce synthetic proteins. It causes cellular dehydration by disrupting the hydrophobic interactions between protein molecules. 4-Aminoisobenzofuran-1,3-dione can be used in the production of specific proteins by immobilizing proteins on a surface and then treating them with this reagent. This chemical has been shown to be effective against symptoms of pomalidomide toxicity in mice, as well as producing a specific test for hydrogenation reduction. 4-Aminoisobenzofuran-1,3-dione is flammable and should be handled with care when using it for laboratory experiments involving organic solvents or peroxides. It also reacts rapidly with 3-nitrophthalic anhydride in the presence of an acid to form 2-(4'-nitrobenzoyl)-4-(aminophenyl)thiop
