Product Information
4-Biphenylyl Trifluoromethanesulfonate is a Grignard reagent that is used to synthesize benzonitrile. It has been shown to be capable of catalyzing the hydrocyanation of benzene, which can produce the chiral product 4-biphenylcarboxylic acid. The substrate is activated by 4-biphenylyl trifluoromethanesulfonate through ligand transmetallation and phosphine activation. In addition, it can be used as a reductive eliminator in the synthesis of isoxazolidines. This reaction proceeds with high yield and with reductively elimination.
