Product Information
- 1-Naphthyltriethoxysilane
Triethoxy(naphthalen-1-yl)silane is a rotator that has physicochemical properties. It can be used as a model compound to study the uptake of naphthalene, the red shift in the absorption spectra of fatty acids, and optical properties. The molecule has been shown to have monolayer formation and diffraction techniques in order to study its physicochemical properties. Triethoxy(naphthalen-1-yl)silane is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene and chloroform. This molecule has also been studied for its uptake and diffraction techniques at temperatures between -78°C and 150°C.
