5α-Dihydrotestosterone-β-glucuronide free acid (5α-DHTG) is a metabolite of 5α-dihydrotestosterone that is excreted in the urine. It is a potential marker of hepatic damage, and can be used to assess the risk of developing liver cancer. The level of 5α-DHTG in urine reflects the rate at which the compound is eliminated from the body.
