Description:
9,10-Dimethoxy-2-anthracenesulfonic acid sodium salt is a fluorescent organic compound that has been used as a calibration standard. It is soluble in organic solvents and interacts with amines. When excited by ultraviolet light, 9,10-dimethoxy-2-anthracenesulfonic acid sodium salt emits fluorescence. This compound is also used to prepare polyvinyl pyrrolidone or pluronic f127 solutions for use in cavity measurements.
