Menisdaurin is a natural product that has been found to inhibit acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme responsible for the breakdown of acetylcholine. This inhibition leads to increased levels of acetylcholine at the synapse and enhances cholinergic transmission in the central nervous system. Menisdaurin is used as a pharmaceutical preparation for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other cholinergic-related diseases. The activity index was determined using cell culture with a control analysis carried out by measuring uv absorption spectroscopic data and nmr spectroscopic data. The chemical structures were analyzed using analytical methods including mass spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy, uv absorption, nuclear magnetic resonance (nmr) spectroscopy, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The structure of menisdaurin was found to be stable in complex with α-amyrin acetate. Menisdaurin showed antibacterial efficacy against methicillin resistant Staph
