Isopropanolamine Phosphate is a surfactant that is used in the production of hydrocarbons and lubricants. This chemical has shown to be effective as a pretreatment for coking and corrosion in petroleum refining. Isopropanolamine Phosphate is also used as a corrosion inhibitor in alkali metal chlorides, alkanolamines, transfer hydrogenation reactions, and magnesium compounds. It can be used as an industrial detergent and stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide, which is often used as a bleaching agent or disinfectant. Isopropanolamine Phosphate can also be used to reduce the concentration of hydrogen peroxide by forming an organic hydroperoxide with hydrogen peroxide at low pH levels.
