Product Information
Benzhydrylphosphonic acid is a reactive, organometallic compound that is used as a catalyst in the production of ferrites. It can be synthesized by reacting benzene with hydroxylamine and phosphorous acid. Benzhydrylphosphonic acid has been used to study the structure of phosphonates, fatty acids, and organic acids. This compound is most commonly found as diethyl ester or diamine tetraacetic acid (DTE). The diameter of benzhydrylphosphonic acid is 3.2 Å. Benzhydrylphosphonic acid has a weight of 138.24 g/mol and an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain with 18 carbon atoms.
