Product Information
CCMI is a fatty acid that is found on the surface of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It has been shown to have inhibitory activity against nitrite reductase, which may be a potential biomarker for this bacterium. CCMI also inhibits the growth of P. aeruginosa in a model system and can be used as an inhibitor of water vapor transport properties. CCMI has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on chemical pesticides and can function as a chaperone in cells. CCMI has been found to have an inhibitory effect on cell lysis due to its disulfide bond.
